Established on September 14th, 1974, the Saint Lucia Fire Service was before an allied force of Polices and Firefighters under the Royal St. Lucia Police Force.
The fire Service today has evolved to many sectors and departments. The largest divisions are that of the north and south of the island responsible for frontline responses. Other departments include Fire Prevention, Engineering and the Information Technology sector.
Currently, the fire service comprises of nine stations, nine ranks, and approximately 350 firefighters.
The fire service responds to hundreds of calls daily with comprises of medical and fire responses. See the stats – COMING SOON
